Writing and posting reviews is very easy to do but
What should I write?
Exactly what you want, so long as it doesn’t use bad language. Here’s some pointers:
Did you like the plot? Was it believable? What was your favourite scene?
How about the characters. Were they credible? Do you know where the action took place? Was it nice to read about somewhere you know.
Was it over or under descriptive? I don’t know about you but the thing that puts me off some books is when the author writes pages about someone rather than get on with their action.
Check out what other reviewers have said about other books.
If you are going to post your review on launch day, then it might be worth saying that you read the advance publication copy before. Otherwise you might not be believed!
Oh, and you’ll need to have an account with say, Amazon to be able to post your review. Sorry, their rules not mine.
I hope that’s helped. Remember, reviews help Indie Authors a lot. Apart from buying their books it’s the best thing you can do for them.
Thanks in advance for your review.
